countdown reminder #1

Several people have expressed concern about their abilities to remember the end date for the challenge, so I have decided that there will be periodic (probably weekly) reminders to everyone out there who is considering entering the challenge. As such, with one week down and several still to go, this is your first COUNTDOWN REMINDER

Date: Wednesday 17th (I include this not because I think you guys are stupid, but because of the fact that I'm quite certain that I live in a completely different timezone from the majority of this community.)

Deadline: November 11th

Time elapsed: 1 week (7 days)

Time remaining: 25 days

Also, if you have already started writing or are seriously considering entering the challenge, please drop a short comment here so that I have at least a vague idea of numbers. After all, if no one is participating, we may have to reconsider things...
