shunsui_nanaoThe Honey Dish Rhapsody is a novel coauthored by Tite Kubo and Matsubara Makoto, set during the week that Ichigo and his friends spent in Soul Society between manga chapter 179 and chapter 180 (at the end of the Soul Society arc). It contains most of the characters featured in that arc, during rarely-seen downtime.
This novel was originally published in Japanese. Recently it was translated into English by Estella May and linked here at the IchiRuki forum on Bleach Asylum. The story has many enjoyable moments with the shinigami, including some scenes featuring Shunsui and Nanao. I'd recommend reading the whole thing, since it's very charming, but if you are only interested in Shunsui and Nanao, I've noted the places they appear in the novel below.
Small spoilers for The Honey Dish Rhapsody:
~Line 282: Nanao appears and has a conversation with Orihime and Rangiku. Immediately after, Shunsui appears and talks with Rangiku and Orihime.
~Line 609: Shunsui and friends have some drinks.
~Line 747: Nanao appears, finds out where Shunsui is, and confronts him at his drinking party.
~Line !123: Nanao and Shunsui together in the office.
